ABOUT THE ENTERPRISE DESIGN
“…I anticipate future management schools devoted to enterprise design. Such business schools would train enterprise designers.”

Career Navigator - Career Planner for Students
This is an upcoming online application for college students and their career advisors. This application is based on the Enterprise Design Engineering concepts. It uses two of its frameworks: the Business Genome Map, and the Visual Resume Map.
The application has the following modules:
-
Online course and its supporting quizzes - this is a course developed around the Business Genome Map framework. It teaches students about the internal business processes and their associated information flows
-
Career Planner - this is an online tool that helps a student explore, design, and analyze a career path; a video describing the analyzer and its results is included.
-
Task Planner - this is a basic task planner that is integrated with career planner module
-
Mentor Network - all colleges have an alumni network; this module allows them to participate with advices and feedback on career paths questions
-
Career Advisor Module - this allows college career advisors to manage students; it display status and various analytics

ENTERPRISE DESIGN
Enterprise design main goal is to extend true engineering method to all areas of a business. Business management, career planning, talent management, and IT enterprise software are the main targets for the new enterprise design field. To make it easier to apply it in practice, the enterprise design field introduces three frameworks: Business Genome Map, Dynamically Stable Enterprise, and Visual Skill Map. These three tools will help any information centric activity to be done orders of magnitude faster, regardless if it is a decision making workflow, or an enterprise software application.
CAREER PLANNING
How many times as a newly hired employee you walked into a meeting and feel lost? I do believe it happens more often than anyone would admit. Professionals are looking at each business as being unique in terms of structure and activities. This is simply not true. The enterprise design introduces a model of the business that it is generic, complete and comprehensive and can be used to understand and navigate any corporation, big and small. This is like giving all professionals a map and a compass to navigate business roles, the task associated, and the list of main career paths found in a business. In the end these enterprise design tools will help you create a career plan that will help you to be promoted to better roles and reach success in your professional life.
TRAINING & CERTIFICATION
Tens if not hundreds of billions are spent every year on MBA and IT education. Both of them have one thing in common, which is information processing. Nevertheless there is a basic question that is never answered? How do you fully measure information? Because once you learn how to measure it, then you will discover that all businesses have a common structure, and solutions are easy to design and implement. This is what training in enterprise design will teach you, which is how to measure any information aspect of a business.
You cannot Design what you cannot Measure - and that it is true for the Enterprise too
"If you cannot measure, it doesn't exists' - Niels Bohr
Introducing Physics of Information
When a civil engineer gets the requirements to design and build a bridge, the most important activity of the entire project is to measure everything, from the size of various parts of the bridge, to the type of soil, to the strength of materials in use.
Business is entirely driven by information. All decisions related to various operations are analyzed and implemented using information centric processes. Nevertheless, we do not have a way to measure any of the complexity of various activities when comes to information. The case method which is used to teach business management has been introduced in college education in 1870... and this is the foundation based on which we make decisions.
Enterprise design introduces a new field of science called Physics of Information, which is based on a complete and comprehensive information and system theory. This is why we consider that enterprise design is a true engineering field.
Consider the two following information centric statements. First statement is: "everyone shut off his office light when leaving work." The second statement is: "increase sales by 20% during the next quarter.". There is clear a difference in complexity when comes to executing those two tasks. The Physics of Information can accurately measure the complexity of each one of them without resorting to 'human' related attributes.
